BIG ISLAND AUTO CLUB DRAG RACING

ESPN Radio provides coverage of the Big Island Auto Club's Drag Racing season which runs each month from Februrary thorugh October.  Russ Roberts provides hourly updates between 12 noon to 7 p.m on each weekend of the race.  Race results cover Pro-Gas index racing, E.T. Bracket Racing, Motorcycle races, Junior Dragsters competion, and Sport Compact Racing.  Race coverage may extend into the evening during highly attended races such as Memorial Day and Labor Day.   The drag racing season attracts top drivers from Hawaii, Oahu, Maui, and Kauai.

  • July 16-17: July Points Meet
  • August 6-7: August Points Meet
  • September 3-4: Labor Day Drags  Points Meet
  • October 8-9: Season Finale  Points Meet
